Creating Rest, Flow and Space through Body Scans
Leader: Nate Blakemore
Type of Program: Special Offering
Prerequisites: Familiarity with the Feel Rest and Feel Flow techniques.
Fee: $10 per person
Body scans are a great way to get really concentrated, and relaxed. As our concentration deepens, so too does our sensory clarity, allowing subtler sensations to become clear and easily trackable, and we can begin to notice tensions you weren't even aware of. In this session we will first systematically invite and create rest, enjoying both immediate relief and the restorative qualities of deeper restful states. As our focus skills deepen, we'll then tune into how moving your awareness can create a sense of flow. Finally, we'll explore how spaciousness can be found even within the smallest areas of the body, offering themes of transcendence and boundless presence.

Focus on Positivity
Leader: Adorn Banda
Type of Program: Foundations
Prerequisites: None
Fee: $20 per person
Positive experiences and negative experiences happens simultaneously in the life of each one of us. However our brain negativity bias tends to force us to focus on negativity. We scan negativity, magnify negativity and keep negative memories stronger and longer. The good news is that we can train our brain to focus on positivity by either finding or creatiting positive experiences. With time our brain can start scanning for positivity, magnifying positivity and keeping positive memories stronger and longer. Then it should not be a surprise that our world view becomes positive too and happiness becomes our daily miracle or blessing.

Letting Go of Time
Leader: Zenshin (Candice) Bernes
Type of Program: Special Offering
Prerequisites: Familiarity with the See, Hear, Feel family of techniques, Transcendence and Equanimity
Fee: $20 per person
We will explore how we experience time, not as a scientific concept or philosophy, but rather as a moment to moment relationship. The first part will focus on becoming more intimate with our personal understanding of time and how that understanding affects our practice. The second part will focus on ways to let conceptual frameworks around time fall away. We will also explore how this relates to choiceless awareness and deep equanimity. All levels of practice are welcome. Even if some of the concepts at first seem daunting to those new to meditation, the guidances will be simple, gradual and spacious. There will be ample time for questions and reports, and I will be available for one-on-one sessions during the hour of personal practice.
