Parts as Practice: Parts Work for Meditators
Leader: Noah Binder
Type of Program: Special Offering
Prerequisites: Familiarity with the See, Hear, Feel and See, Hear, Feel Good techniques.
Fee: $20 per person
Part of you wants to meditate. Another part keeps you from the cushion. Inner conflict can be viewed in many ways; from the Tibetan practice of Chöd to the contemporary framework of Internal Family Systems (IFS), anyone who has studied the mind has noticed that the mind contains multitudes. In this program, we'll apply the lens of Unified Mindfulness—its techniques, vocabulary, and map of human happiness—to the practice of parts work, exploring how it can be engaged as a traditional mindfulness practice. We'll see how working skillfully with parts can help us with all levels of insight, from understanding ourselves psychologically to ultimately encountering ourselves as originally complete. And we'll get practical, using parts work to address walls that arise in practice, from getting on the cushion to the fear of going deeper. No prior experience with parts work is required. Whether you're entirely new to the territory or already engage with IFS in a therapeutic context, this program offers a fresh entry point—one that combines the power of UM and IFS.

Embodied Attention: Out of Head Mode, Rebalancing Hear In and Feel In
Leader: Kasia Haftek-Lis
Type of Program: Special Theme
Prerequisites: Familiarity with the ‘Feel In’ and ‘Hear In’ techniques.
Fee: $20 per person
Join us for this home practice program dedicated to one of the most common attention patterns in modern life — living primarily in Hear In. When inner talk dominates experience, we lose contact with the stabilizing, grounding world of Feel In. Through sensitizing exercises, somatic tracking, and structured daily practices, you’ll develop practical skills for recognizing your sensory dominance patterns and rebalancing attention toward the body.

The Happiness Grid: Transforming Behavioral Patterns
Leader: Jenny Diakolambrianos
Type of Program: Special Theme
Prerequisites: Familiarity with the See, Hear, Feel; Feel Rest and Nurture Positive techniques
Fee: $20 per person
In this session we explore how lasting behavior change emerges when all five Happiness Types — Relief, Fulfillment, Insight, Mastery, and Connection — work together. Rather than relying on willpower alone, we will use the Happiness Grid as a diagnostic and strategic tool to shift habitual patterns. Through guided practice sessions, reflection exercises, and interactive discussions we will begin developing a practical framework for transforming habits from the inside out by bringing mindfulness skills to the underlying sensory processes that shape our actions.
