Letting the Heart Break

Leader: Zenshin (Candice) Bernes
Type of Program: Special Offering
Prerequisites: No prerequisites, but a familiarity with themes of transcendence is suggested
Fee: $20 per person

We tend to meet this moment with effort, with interpretation, with holding something together, be it an idea, a concept, a philosophy. This includes matters of the heart: our capacity to witness suffering, to love and be loved, and even to welcome joy. This is an invitation to gently loosen our grip on these habitual constructs and to discover what happens when we do.

Become the Offering: Embodying What's Needed

Leader: Kevin Lacroix
Type of Program: Cross Training
Prerequisites: Familiarity with the See, Hear, Feel and See, Hear, Feel Good techniques are helpful, but not essential
Fee: $20 per person

It's understandable, especially when the world feels unstable, unwieldy, unsafe, to relate to practice as an individual pursuit — a set of tools to help us tolerate a world, a life, a self that doesn't feel safe to love. In the process, we reinforce the disempowering separateness that practice invites us to dissolve. But we are, by nature, integral to the world — not as philosophy, but as plain fact. Which means that what we bring into being through our own experience is brought into the world! And when we remember this, it is a powerful motivator to practice — for the sake of all beings. In this session, through Appreciate, Transcend, and Nurture Positive techniques, we'll practice loosening the grip of conditioned habits — judgment, resignation, withholding — and meet the present moment as what it always already is: inexhaustible opportunity to become the offering the world needs.

I look forward to practicing with you!
Kevin

Note Level of Experience

Leader: Eileen Knott
Type of Program: Special Offering
Prerequisites: Participants should have a foundational understanding of the See Hear Feel technique framework and be comfortable with the basics of Noting and Labeling
Fee: $20 per person

Note Level of Experience is a workshop dedicated to tracking the moment-by-moment intensity of your sensorial landscape. This exercise prioritizes the "volume" of your See Hear Feel experience, teaching you to monitor the rising and falling strength of sensory flavors using labels like Strong, Weak, or None, or your own customized labels. This nuanced approach deepens equanimity by highlighting the fluid, ever-changing nature of all sensations. By refining your ability to detect subtle shifts in sensory power, you will build a high-resolution map of your reality and gain the precision needed to navigate high-intensity states with total stability and insight.

We will explore the Appreciate Quadrant using the focus options Hear In, See In, and Feel In.
